REfindly and Its New Google AdWords Certification

REfindly was recently recognized as a certified Google Adwords partner by completing its Google AdWords Certification and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Chris Melfi, REfindly’s Director of Marketing, completed the multi-level three-hour long certification process on Friday Feb. 7 2014.

And Google doesn’t mess around when it comes to AdWords certification. Chris had to pass a series of exams demonstrating his in-depth understanding of Adwords—but it was well worth it—because now REfindly is part of Google’s Partner database of advertising professionals.

Can I get a woot, woot?

According to Google, anyone can join Google Partners, but only trusted agencies can earn Google’s seal of approval and get listed on Google Partner Search—generating valuable leads.

Google AdWords Certification: What it Takes

Knowledge: A company or an individual must be able to show advanced AdWords knowledge.

Morals: You must be able to show how you’re maximizing your clients’ performance by implementing the recommended best practices in their accounts. Google reviews your client accounts to make sure they’re getting topnotch service, including the type and frequency of the changes you’re making, whether you’re making the most out of your clients’ budget and client retention.

But keep in mind that Google reviews your client accounts from the time they were linked to the My Client Center (MCC), even if they were linked before the Partners program started.

Budget: Your MMC must be able to stand the test of time by showing a healthy amount of activity as well as meet the Spend requirements across all managed accounts.

Google will look at:

  • Spend activity in at least 60 of the last 90 days
  • The last $10,000 in total AdWords spend over the last 90 calendar days
  • Whether or not MCC is at least 90 days old

The Fun Part: And finally, you must create your company profile including the company name, logo, website, contact info, Google+ Page and description

After all that is said and done, Google will decide whether you’re worthy of Google partnership.

Thank You

We are thankful for Chris’s hard work and excited to be Google Partner certified.

Cheers!
